SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Through departmental established duties and responsibilities, perform high quality computed tomography exams and procedures for use by physicians and radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Plans and performs all CT procedures and post processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy and established protocols.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): 

  • CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of CT hire date.
  • Two years of experience as a registered radiology technologist.
  • Prior Computed Tomography experience in a Trauma/ Cardiac facility preferred.
  • Venipuncture competent
