About Me

I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeon who performs surgery for people who are critically ill, have experienced a traumatic injury or have a condition that requires immediate surgical attention. I have more than 13 years of experience as a surgeon and educator, including at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center. The Association of Women Surgeons has recognized my leadership work, and I’ve held leadership positions in the American College of Surgeons. Surgery is a highly coordinated team effort, and I see each patient relationship as special and unique.
