About Me
Dr. Vakharia is a fellowship-trained surgeon who uses cosmetic principles to help patients with challenging reconstructive issues. Her areas of specialty include reconstruction after skin cancer surgery, Mohs surgery, sarcoma and breast surgery reconstruction, and treatment for melanoma and soft tissue tumors. Her primary research interest is cutaneous oncology. Dr. Vakharia’s clinical interests include melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, soft tissue tumors, sarcoma reconstruction, breast reconstruction, hand surgery and body cosmetic surgery (breast augmentation, abdominoplasty).
