Radiation Oncologist
The Penn State Health Department of Radiation Oncology invites applications for a full-time academic radiation oncologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join our expanding faculty. The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment at Penn State College of Medicine and provide clinical services at the Penn State Cancer Institute (Hershey, PA).
This position offers an outstanding opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered cancer care within a thriving clinical practice while actively participating in academic pursuits, including teaching, research and clinical trial enrollment. The department is equipped with multiple TrueBeam linear accelerators and a newly installed Varian Ethos. Strong collaborations with our medical physics and surgical colleagues support a Gamma Knife radiosurgery program and an active brachytherapy practice. In addition, Penn State College of Medicine is making significant institutional investments in the development and application of artificial intelligence in medical research.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and contribute to collaborative cancer care across the health system. Engagement in research and scholarly activities is expected, with support from the Penn State Cancer Institute and Department for cooperative group and investigator-initiated clinical trials.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalent medical degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-based approach to care
- Completion of accredited training program
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- BC/BE in radiation oncology
