SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the PSH Cancer Center Hematology/Oncology Practice at Hampden Medical Center & PSH Medical Group Hematology/Oncology Union Deposit Practice Site. The APP will provide and manage patient care in a hematology/oncology setting and serve as a key point person for patients throughout their oncology treatment plan.
Responsibilities include:
- Management of hematology/oncology patients in both outpatient and inpatient consult settings at Hampden Medical Center and Holy Spirit Hospital
- Coordination of care and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Patient education, follow-up, and ongoing treatment support
Position Highlights:
- Structured orientation and standardized onboarding in a collaborative team environment
- Four-day workweek, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Supportive practice welcoming to new graduates
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
- Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
- Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.
