SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Medical Office Associate provides office support to the Urology Physicians and work with a diverse patient population. The MOA duties can include but are not limited to answering patient phone calls, sending electronic messages through the system portal, assisting with authorizations, and provide direct support to the attending physicians and residents. Must be detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. The Medical Office Associate works under the daily supervision of Urology Leadership. The MOA position will be located in the Department of Urology ancillary office suite.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Medical Office experience preferred
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  •  Basic computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and patients
  • Ability to solve problems, or seek assistance from supervisor when necessary
