Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager, Transplant Program to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting patients across the solid organ transplant continuum—from referral and evaluation through transplantation and lifelong post-transplant care.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Transplant Program and Transplant Nurse Coordinator team.
• Oversee nursing operations across pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant services.
• Drive transplant quality metrics, patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with UNOS, CMS, OPTN, and transplant accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with transplant surgeons, cardiologists, nephrologists, hepatologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, social workers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Improve patient access, referral management, care coordination, and transplant program growth.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, patient safety efforts, workflow optimization, and operational excellence.
• Mentor, develop, and engage nursing staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an appropriate allied health or hospital leadership position required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a healthcare related field.
- Strong candidate will have one (1) or more years of experience with transplant and or cardiovascular services.
- Managerial and financial experience within a hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and produce financial plans and reports preferred.
