SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Lead as the top software application expert in one or more of the Payroll areas within the ERP Center of Excellence. Provide technical support to the areas that the ERP Center of Excellence Payroll Information Systems support. Work with vendors and external experts to ensure that the software application is deployed effectively within the institution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of software patches and upgrades within the 3 environments.
- Assist in making changes to the various interfaces that are managed by this position.
- Resolve application production problems.
- Act as a liaison between the departments impacted and the vendor and Coordinate resources across other information technology teams as required.
- Provide support to the business when needed for changes to interfaces and practices.
- Prepare documents and give oral presentations as required.
- Determine future strategy, objectives, and goals for the technologies and/or business areas under this position's leadership.
- Work with other operational areas to ensure the effective and integrated delivery of information technology services as required for assigned projects and routine operations.
- Lead a single enterprise project or multiple concurrent smaller projects.
- Maintain application profile tables Use vendor-supplied tools to perform ad hoc reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Six (6) years of related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with time and attendance software, Infor WFM
- Experience with advanced scheduling and staffing software, Smart Square or Infor WFM
- Experience with labor analytics and reporting
- Understanding of payroll system configurations and processing, including issue review and resolution, Infor software
- Experience with complex pay practice and payroll rules essential
