SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This role will coordinate all functions of a perpetual inventory. This includes, but is not limited to cycle counting, resolving inventory discrepancies, expiration checks, annual physical inventory and all other duties assigned by leadership. Outside of the inventory functions this role will work in tandem with other coordinators for logging outdated/donated products. In addition, will assist leadership with audits of inpatient periodic automated replenishment locations, creating education and mentoring objective for inventory specialists.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: 

  • Inventory Functions (Cycle counts, Purchase order reviews, Min/Max inventory level reviews, expiration checks, storeroom metrics, backorder communications, and annual inventory) 
  • Logging Expiration and donatable products 
  • Auditing Periodic Automated Replenishment Locations 
  • Mentoring and Creating Educational information  


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in Medical Supply Chain or Warehousing and/or Logistics


PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Associate's Degree
