SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The HR Generalist will provide essential operational support to the local HR operational teams and broader HR team in the delivery of HR services. This role is responsible for coordinating, planning and organizing needs, including special projects and initiatives, and assists with employee retention and engagement within their assigned local business unit. Uses judgement to interpret policies and procedures. Investigates and resolve issues while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and excellent customer service. Under the direction of the Executive HRBP, the HR Generalist supports the execution of defined people strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Two (2) years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR coordinator role.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment law.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build trust with internal stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience supporting HRBP or working in a matrixed HR environment.
- Familiarity with HR data analytics tools or reporting systems.
