Pediatric Hospitalist
Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center

Penn State Health St Joseph Medical Center of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Hospitalist.

  • Join a group of 3 other dedicated pediatricians
  • Coverage for Level 1 Newborn Nursery, Inpatient General Pediatric patients, and ED consults.
  • Level 2 NICU on site with 24/7 coverage by neonatologists/NNPs
  • Community Hospital within a larger health system that has support of Children’s Hospital
  • Shifts include daytime rounding at the hospital and overnight home call
  • Teaching hospital with a family medicine residency program and medical students
What we’re seeking:
  • BC/BE in General Pediatrics. Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine experience preferred, certification not required.
  • MD, D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Participation in teaching and engagement with division’s quality improvement
