SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to a designated group of patients. This position is for ground, candidates will be considered for air after a year of employment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Registered Nurse with a current license to practice professional nursing in Pennsylvania or Registered Nurse from another state with a temporary PA Practice Permit.
- Current Pennsylvania Prehospital Registered Nurse (PHRN) Certification, or National Registry EMT credentials and ability to complete Pennsylvania Pre-hospital Nursing credential within six (6) months.
- Three (3) years of Critical Care (ICU level patient care) or experience with acutely ill or injured patients
- CEN/CCRN accepted for hire, CTRN or CFRN will be required within one (1) year of hire
- ACLS, PALS, BLS Certifications
- Must currently possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- CTRN or CFRN certification at time of hiring
- Five (5) years of Critical Care nursing experience in one or more Intensive Care Units.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider and S.T.A.B.L.E. Provider
- ITLS or PHTLS advanced provider
- Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVDT) and PA EMSVO endorsement
