SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides high level administrative support for an individual or group of individuals and professionals. Independently performs non-routine administrative functions such as coordination of events, conducting research, preparing reports or handling of special projects. Drafts and edits correspondence, promotional materials or presentations. May monitor operating budget and maintain financial records. Handles non-routine and routine inquiries and issues from internal and external sources. Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on area(s). Works independently under limited supervision. Performs tasks that are not typically routine and may be required to apply discretion within established boundaries. Responsible for making minor changes in activities and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness. Independently develops solutions to problems for manager to review. Communicates with contacts on matters of moderate importance to leadership. Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees in the work area. Requires broad knowledge of operational system and practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum three (3) years experience in an administrative role or associate degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Microsoft Proficiency Level – Word: Intermediate; Excel: Intermediate; PowerPoint; intermediate
