About Me
I am a plastic surgeon with more than three decades of experience. I began my career in the military, initially as a Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S. Army. After completing medical school, a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in plastic surgery, I served as chief of plastic surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. There, and later as an officer in the Army Reserve serving in multiple combat deployments, I provided cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to the men and women in our armed forces.
Since 1997, I’ve also been in private practice, specializing in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. My primary focus is facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction and breast procedures including reconstruction, reduction and implants revision surgery. I also have expertise in removing skin lesions, including cysts, hypertrophic and keloid scars and skin cancer lesions.
Understanding a cosmetic, plastic or surgical procedure fully and how it can help is essential for patients to decide what is right for them. The initial consultation is vitally important.
