About Me
Abigail Harkness is a family nurse practitioner. Prior to joining Penn State Health, she served in a similar role at Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg, Pa. Harkness also was a nurse injector for Avery Graham Aesthetics, Philadelphia. Before completing her nurse practitioner education, she served critical care patients at three different acute care hospitals in the region, including Tower Health. Harkness earned a master’s degree in nursing at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa., and a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Temple University, Philadelphia. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
