Opening Fall 2021

Recruitment efforts shift into high gear

With Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center preparing to open its doors to patients this fall, the health system is ramping up recruitment efforts for its newest acute care hospital. The hospital’s leadership team is actively recruiting dynamic team members looking for a culture where they will be appreciated and valued. Opportunities are available in all departments, including nursing, the operating room, pharmacy, respiratory services and other clinical areas.

“Joining Penn State Health at the new location will give team members a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment,” said Aimee Hagerty, vice president and chief nursing officer. “Here, trust and respect among colleagues will be paramount.”

“We will be able to bring a fresh perspective on health care and how we deliver it at a community hospital as part of Penn State Health,” she said. “Also, by having the support of our colleagues at Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine, we can offer all of the benefits of our university health system to patients more easily through our coordinated care.”
