Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Neurology

Penn State Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Outpatient Neurology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced neurology provider or a Nurse Practitioner interested in developing expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Position Highlights:
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m
  • No weekends or call
  • Outpatient practice caring for adult patients with a variety of neurological conditions
  • Collaborative team of neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Mentorship and specialty training available
  • Opportunities to develop procedural skills, including Botox for chronic migraine, lumbar punctures, and peripheral nerve blocks
  • Neurology experience preferred but not required
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with conditions including headache, movement, cognitive, sensory, motor, and gait disorders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
  • Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
  • Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
