In the Emergency Department, Naja uses her background to build trust with patients and their families during some of their most stressful moments, believing that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting impact.
Outside of work, Naja is endlessly creative. She designs shoes, sews clothing from scratch, enjoys gardening, volunteers with military Family Readiness Groups and PRIDE events, and loves traveling and crafting with her four children.
One thing you won't miss in her ambassador photo is the Jamaican flag, a proud reflection of her heritage. And whether she's working a 12-hour shift in her favorite blue sneakers or grabbing a caramel coffee during a busy day as a pick-me-up, a favorite family photo in her locker keeps her motivated and is a daily reminder to lead with compassion every shift.
