About the Position:
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health for Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist for an outpatient clinic-based position in Harrisburg, PA.
What We’re Seeking:
- MD, DO or equivalent degree
- Completion of accredited residency program
- BC/BE in Psychiatry is required with certification within 3 years after hire
- Fellowship training and/or experience in geriatric psychiatry is preferred
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in PA and a DEA certificate
- Successful candidates should have strong teaching as well as clinical skills and, optimally, potential for scientific and scholarly achievement
