Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist or Neurohospitalist to join our growing neuroscience team serving the West Shore region of Central Pennsylvania. This position offers the flexibility to pursue either a dedicated inpatient Neurohospitalist role with a 7-on/7-off schedule or a hybrid practice combining inpatient and outpatient neurology.

The selected candidate will provide services at either Hampden Medical Center or Holy Spirit Medical Center, allowing for a consistent practice location during scheduled shifts.

Both Hampden Medical Center and Holy Spirit Medical Center are designated Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, in collaboration with the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality stroke care and advancing neurological services within the region.

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
  • BC/BE Neurology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Excellent patient care abilities
  • Qualifications and experience reading routine EEGs preferred, but not required
