About Me
Dr. Parth Sharma is a minimally invasive surgeon. In addition to advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, he specializes in surgical weight loss, minimally invasive surgical repair of paraesophageal and hiatal hernias, abdominal wall and groin hernia repair, surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, gallbladder surgery and complex upper gastrointestinal surgery.
A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. Sharma attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL., and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago. He completed his general surgery residency at UMass Medical School – Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Mass. Dr. Sharma spent an additional fellowship year specializing in minimally invasive advanced gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
