About Me
I am a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. After completing residency training, I joined the U.S. Army and started practice in Fort Benning, Georgia. During this time, I cared for members of the 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed to Humacao, Puerto Rico, in support of the Hurricane Maria relief effort. I also deployed to Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
After completing my shoulder and elbow fellowship, I concluded my military service at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, where I deployed to East Africa in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I have had the privilege of caring for active duty service members and their families, veterans and athletes at all levels in my career. I am currently an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery and focus on caring for patients with traumatic and degenerative shoulder and elbow problems. I also serve on multiple editorial boards. Educating patients about their diagnoses and treatment options is a cornerstone of my practice. The most rewarding part of being an orthopaedic surgeon is seeing patients get back to their desired activities.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children in the beautiful outdoors of central Pennsylvania.
