About Me
Dr. Borgatta is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is also certified by the Heart Rhythm Society as a Rhythm Specialist in Cardiac Pacing and Defibrillation, and is certified by the Council of Nuclear Cardiology in Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Borgatta was raised in Long island, NY, and earned his undergraduate degree in biology at St. John’s University, Jamaica, NY. He started his medical school education in Turin, Italy at the University of Turin. He transferred to New York Medical College and received his medical degree at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. His postgraduate training included Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at The University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington, CT. He remained at the Health Center as Chief Medical Resident and also completed his Cardiovascular Fellowship at the Health Center prior to joining Berks Cardiologists.
