About Me
I provide comprehensive family medicine care for people of all ages. This includes not only treating acute issues and chronic illnesses, but also promoting health through routine screenings, vaccines, and other services. Additionally, I perform basic in-office procedures, such as skin biopsies.
In addition to family medicine, I also practice obesity medicine. I help both children and adults manage their weight and weight-related health issues. I accept consultations from other family medicine providers within Penn State Health and also participate in Penn State Health’s Fatty Liver Clinic.
I am passionate about educating students and post-graduate learners in both obesity and family medicine. I actively participate in research to better understand the nuances of obesity and am an associate editor of the medical journal Obesity Pillars.
I chose to go into family medicine and obesity medicine because I enjoy helping individuals prevent and reverse health issues.
