About Me

I am a board-certified neurologist who is fellowship-trained in movement disorders, including conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, ataxia and other tremor and balance-related disorders. I specialize in both motor and non-motor symptoms, including cognitive impairments. I also provide botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and reprogram deep brain stimulator devices.

I have a strong background in Parkinson’s disease that I use in research and to help my patients benefit from the most advanced treatments. My research has focused on thinking and information processing in people with Parkinson’s disease. I’ve collaborated with colleagues at Johns Hopkins Hospital in these areas.

I believe that education is an essential part of treatment. It’s important to me that my patients understand their condition and my approach to their care. I explain the options and involve everyone in the decision-making process in a clear and approachable way.

I grew up in the Pocono Mountains region and enjoy running and spending time outside.
