About Me
Since graduating 20 years ago from the nurse practitioner program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Joy has focused her practice on wound care. Most recently, she served patients of Washington Health System Wound and Skin Healing Center, Washington, Pa. Joy holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an associate degree in nursing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Green Bay, Wis. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology at the University of Santo Tomas and a master’s in biology at De La Salle University, both of which are located in Manila, Philippines. Joy is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, the Wound Healing Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
