About Me
I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. I work with a skilled team to help restore quality of life to individuals and families living with cardiovascular disease. I’m experienced in minimally invasive techniques, including aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair and replacement, and robotic-assisted coronary bypass. I’m also skilled in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR).
Before joining Penn State Health, I served as division head of thoracic surgery at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. At Cooper, I also held the positions of director of thoracic aortic surgery and thoracic oncology, director of the Lung Cancer Center and co-director of the Aortic Center.
I’m a Pennsylvania native, born and raised in the Philadelphia area. In my free time, I enjoy running, skiing and golf.
