About Me

I am an academic general pediatrician and the pediatric residency program director in the Department of Pediatrics at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital, where I oversee the recruitment, orientation and training of pediatric resident physicians. I am also the assistant dean of student affairs, a pediatrics specialty career advisor to medical students at Penn State College of Medicine and a member of the Pediatrics Council for the Office of Health Advancement and Community Engagement.

At the national level, I’m a member of the American Board of Pediatrics Education and Training Committee. I served as co-chair of the Association of Pediatric Program Directors Mid-Atlantic Region from 2021 to 2024, where I represented 17 pediatric residency programs across four states and the District of Columbia.

As a pediatrician and career advisor, I strongly value and support the human connection in health care. During medical school, I was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor societies, which recognize physicians for their dedication to the medical profession, art of healing and compassionate care.
