SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Patient Account Liaison interacts with customers relative to all patient account issues while maintaining excellent public relation skills. This requires an adherence to strict confidentiality guidelines and proficient usage of all billing systems. Performs all patient accounting functions including billing, follow up, adjustments, and refunds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  •  High School Diploma or equivalent
  • HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle (CRCR) certification obtained within 1 year of date of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in customer service or medical office billing is highly preferred
