Spin and separate plasma within one hour of collection. Freeze until sent out.

Patient Preparation

A fasting specimen required. Patient can drink only water during the fasting period. Discontinue epinephrine and epinephrine like drugs for a least 1 week before specimen collection. Refrain from smoking for at least 4 hours before specimen collection.
