3 ml whole blood in a green-top tube PLACE ON ICE IMMEDIATELY!

Spin ASAP after collection, within one hour.  Plasma must be separated immediately after collection if not on gel.  Sample must be processed as noted above.  If not available, send patient to UPC Lab for collection.
