Preliminary reports issued daily Monday through Friday. Negative results finalized after 28 days.

Patient Preparation

Always draw Isolator tube before other blood tests.
Disinfect skin with Chlorhexidine prep, swabbing concentrically from the center outward.
Allow Chlorhexidine prep to dry for 30 seconds before collecting blood specimens.
Disinfect isolator tube stopper with alcohol swab.
Using a sterile needle and syringe, fill the isolator tube.
Do not change needle during procedure.
Invert tube to mix.
