Patient PreparationFemales: Use LARGER swab for cleaning excess mucus and discard. Collect specimen with second SMALLER flocked swab. Insert into endocervical canal. Rotate 5 times. Withdraw swab and place in cobas
Females and Males: Urine specimens: First Catch urine (10-50 ML) into urine cup. Immediately transfer urine into the cobas PCR Media tube using provided disposable Pipette. The fluid level MUST be between the two black lines on the tube label. Invert tube 5 times.

Additional Test InformationAll positives are reported to the department of health. Test Method NOT approved for patients under 14 years of age. Females approved for swab and urine specimens. Males approved for urines ONLY.
