In a nearly 40-year career that spans private practice through administrative leadership, Dr. Marc Rovito has consistently been guided by one unwavering principle: providing exceptional patient care.

“There are many ways to care for patients. One is through direct, hands-on care; the other is by ensuring access to care that is not only high-quality but also timely,” says Dr. Rovito, who balances daily patient care with his role as Penn State Health’s vice president of cancer services. “The patient must always be at the forefront of your mind, no matter what you do.”

With his administrative partner Ethel Randall, Dr. Rovito works to coordinate cancer care across Penn State Health’s hospitals and outpatient practices. He is dedicated to equipping his team with the tools, resources and guidance necessary to make this vision a reality.

“The key is creating interconnected systems and sharing resources, so patients receive the same high-level care. Penn State Health cancer care should look the same no matter where you are.”
