A sense of family working on the third shift

Working at St. Joseph Medical Center is “a family thing,” says Greg Mull, a certified infusion IV pharmacy technician whose career at the hospital has spanned nearly 30 years.

He, his daughter and his grandchildren were all born at St. Joseph. His daughter works there as a registered nurse in Pediatrics. And his mom was a labor and delivery nurse there, too. But it’s more than that.

“It’s the people who work here on the third shift,” says Greg, who’s worked that overnight shift for the past 25 years. “We’re like family. We laugh together. Cry together. We’re always there for each other and we rely on each other to make sure our patients get the best care possible, no matter what hour of night.”

It’s stories like these that drive our purpose.
