A visit from family and friends can make a real difference for a child receiving care at Penn State Children’s Hospital.

COVID-19 Patient Visitation Policy

Penn State Health is committed to the safety of patients, staff, visitors and the general public. Under the recently revised policy, adult inpatients may have one family/support person with them during their entire stay, and pediatric patients may have two. The designated family/support person(s) will be the only one(s) allowed into Penn State Health facilities throughout a patient’s stay. Adult patients accessing emergency departments and outpatient clinics will not be permitted any family/support persons. Per the visitation restriction policy, no visitors, aside from patient-designated family/support persons, are allowed at this time.
