Community Involvement

We encourage patients, families and caregivers to join us as we support various organizations and charities throughout the year.

Patient and Family Advisory Council

Andrews Patel Hematology/Oncology is dedicated to improving the quality of patient and family care within our practice and our Patient and Family Advisory Council will aid us as we move forward. This council consists of past and present patients and family members who have an interest.

Patients and their families are the most important members of this council because they can provide a unique perspective. Their feedback regarding the standard of care they received will allow us to continually improve processes to provide optimal care.

Our goal is for the Advisory Council to meet every other month to:

  • Address patient and family needs and concerns
  • Provide feedback on our current system
  • Generate new ideas
  • Improve our current standard of care
  • Act as a catalyst and advocate for our patients
  • Enhance the patient and family experience

If you are interested in volunteering for the council or have more questions, please contact Stacy Maksin at 717-761-8740 x9339 or email at

Thank you for your consideration in assisting us as we continue to advance our goal of providing integrated quality health care to those in need.
