About Me

Yuanyi Murray, MD, is board-eligible neonatologist and an assistant professor of pediatrics. She received her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Penn State University at University Park. Dr. Murray went to medical school at SUNY - Stony Brook University in New York before completing her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Westchester Medical Center - New York Medical College at Westchester, NY.

Dr. Murray is passionate about neonatal nutrition and growth. Her research focus during fellowship was on developing new reference growth curves for very low birth weight infants on an exclusive human milk diet. She also participated in a multicenter study in the use of human milk cream to decrease length of stay in neonates. Dr. Murray was a member of the Board of Directors for the Liquid Gold Preemie Donor Milk Bank at Westchester Medical Center where she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to build a new milk bank specifically for collecting donor milk from mothers of premature infants.

Outside of research and clinical care, Dr. Murray loves to play the piano and go to the theater.
