About Me

I joined Penn State Health Children’s Health in 2020 as an assistant professor of Pediatrics.

I am also the director of Neonatal Outreach. The main focus of my work is to improve neonatal outcomes through outreach education. While at the University of Maryland, I served as the medical director for the Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Program from 2011 to 2019.

I am an active instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program since 2009 and an instructor of S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work and Emotional support), a program that works to reduce infant mortality. My other interests include stabilization and transport of critically ill neonates, simulation education, and quality improvement.
