About Me
I am a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner who joined the Penn State Health Children's NICU in 2023. Prior to that, I worked as a neonatal nurse practitioner in Albuquerque since 2016. My clinical interests include hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, delivery room resuscitation, and abdominal wall defects. I have been involved in many quality improvement projects throughout my career. I have been a mentor and preceptor to new and experienced nurse practitioners and nurse practitioner students. In addition, I am a Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor and teach the S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work and Emotional support) program, instructing providers on how to stabilize newborns.
