Colleen Kampf, an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, has joined Penn State Health Medical Group – Neurosurgery. Previously, she worked with Matrix Medical Network in Pottsville, Pa., in the mobile COVID-19 unit. She also provided remote telehealth nursing for Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s COVID-19 unit. Her early career included work as a registered nurse for Lankenau Heart Group, Radnor, Pa.; Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr, Pa., where she worked in the Neuro-Cardiac ICU; and Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia.
An active member of multiple professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau, the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Colleen serves as the education chair for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She also is a member of the Chester County Community Emergency Response Team.
Colleen completed her master’s degree in nursing at Villanova University, Villanova, Pa., and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Drexel University, Philadelphia. While completing her master’s program, she was a tuition scholar and tutored graduate and undergraduate nursing students.
