Andrea Bria-Carbo, CRNP, graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia with a Master of Science in nursing. She became a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner through the National Certification Corporation. Bria-Carbo is a neonatal resuscitation program instructor and has always had an interest in simulation. She is the lead facilitator for the Advanced Practice Provider Journal Club and was a participant of and contributor to the Nutrition/Feeding Protocol Hot Topic team. Bria-Carbo is dedicated to lactation and breastfeeding mothers. She is currently working toward her International board-certified lactation consultant certification so she may further support breastfeeding mothers and the donor milk program. Her goal is to establish a neonatal intensive care unit breastfeeding support program.
