SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to a Registered Nurse for performing basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures.

7 Main is a fast paced 45 bed, progressive care telemetry, serving the adult population with multiple comorbidities along with acute cardiac related diagnosis. Our staff are trained to care for patients with complex IV drips requiring constant telemetry monitoring, assessing stroke patients using the NIH stroke scale (our unit has helped Holy Spirit become a Gold plus elite honor roll stroke center), and caring for other general medicine cases with multiple chronic and acute illnesses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Nursing student of an accredited Nursing Program and one clinical rotation, or a Graduate Nurse without Boards required.
