This Vice President, CNO position at Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital will oversee the delivery of programs and services to the workforce, for which departments are assigned. The Chief Nursing Officer will identify, develop and reward group workforce talent who demonstrate excellence. The VP, CNO will implement leading practices and services consistent with St. Joseph Regional Health Network mission, values and objectives, in order to attract and retain a diverse workforce capable of executing priorities.  As a key member of senior leadership, provides strategic direction, executive level leadership, planning, organization and general management for all aspects of patient care at the hospital ensuring integration of services and compliance with long range objectives and strategies, including the provision of excellent quality service sand the practice of sound business practices.  




Bachelor's degree in Nursing


Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration


10 years of experience in healthcare with at least 7 years of progressive management experience in Nursing Administration



Leadership executive education preferred.


Background in organizational effectiveness with direct program design and implementation experience is a plus.
