JOB SUMMARY:


Responsible to ensure all payments received by each Penn State Health entity are deposited accurately into the appropriate financial institution and related account. All entity payments in each bank account from all payment channels must be reviewed and reconciled daily to the supporting documentation (EOB, other operating revenue support) to ensure payments are applied to the correct entity, cost center, and account structure and reconciled without variances. All patient payments must be batched and distributed to the appropriate revenue cycle team members for posting followed by a final reconciliation to the applicable patient billing system to ensure the full amount of the deposit was posted.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

HS Diploma or GED required.

 

3 years of related experience required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Associates degree preferred.
