Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Training Coordinator for Life Support Training courses to join our team! The Training coordinator, plans, coordinates, executes, and provides post-event follow-up for educational events conducted by the Resuscitation Sciences Training Center (RSTC) including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and other similar programs.
The Training Coordinator schedules courses and programs and obtains necessary sponsoring organization's authorizations while effectively recruiting faculty and instructors. A critical resource for the team, the Training Coordinator is essential in supporting everything from on-site coordination for relevant courses and events and plays a key role in ensuring faculty has achieved necessary updates to keep instructor status current. Courses and programs, manages registrations. Provides all pre- and post-course documentation to sponsoring organizations. The individual selected for this position will also maintain all Penn State Health requirements for employment and follow up with sponsoring organizations to provide pre and post-course documentation.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
One (1) year of experience with Educational course or program management required.
Must have one of the following active credentials: EMT-A, EMT-P, LPN, RN, RT
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) and the ability to communicate with multiple levels within the organization.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Proficient computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, LMS/Compass).
Excellent Project Management skills.
Experience with online registration systems preferred.
