JOB SUMMARY:


Working under the supervision of a Team Leader, this position provides technology support to one or more operational business units of the Penn State Health Revenue Cycle Department. As a member of a larger IRT team, this position participates in system integration activities, team planning and discussions, prepares sections of team documents, leads small to medium-sized projects, and participates in larger projects. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of related experience or (b) six years total of related experience.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Hospital Billing and Collections experience is preferred

Previous experience leading a team or as a senior level staff member preferred

Previous insurance claim process experience

Understanding of project management

 

HFMA, MGMA, or NAHAM Certifications preferred
