Hours: 10:30p-6:30a and 11:30p-7:30a
Supervises the activities of assigned employees including assigning work and inspection and correction if needed of work performed. Provides coordination, support and training for the employees within areas of responsibility. Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in food service practices and procedures. Enforces adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and performs all aspects of employee discipline. Assures adequate staffing patterns, communicates effectively to all facility staff, patients, and visitors, and practices all components of Service Excellence.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year experience performing institutional food service supervision. -
Healthcare experience preferred.
Serv Safe certification required upon hire or within 12 months of start date.
