SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Directly supervise, lead and coordinate the daily activities of Laboratory workers. Assists with management decisions and activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of experience in Blood Bank as a MLS (ASCP)
Medical Laboratory Scientist, American Society (ASCP) BS in Medical Laboratory Science or three years of college and completion of one-year CAHEA accredited school of medical technology required OR
Bachelor of Science in chemistry, biological or physical sciences plus one year of experience/training in the specialty/subspecialty in which the tests are performed required
Working knowledge of team function within the organization.
