JOB SUMMARY:


The Sterile Processing Aide facilitates workflow within the Sterile Processing Department by assisting SPD staff with routine operations throughout Surgical Services, to include the Operating Suite.
The Sterile Processing Aide will also be expected to perform a variety of clerical and manual tasks involved in maintaining inventory controls; to include receiving, verifying, storing and issuing various supplies and instruments upon request or case cart requisition.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education/equivalent required.


Six months experience in a Hospital environment,

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Inventory/Supply Distribution related field recommended. Customer Service experience preferred.
